Thank you 5th grade students for your valentine cards and treats!

Period 1: Today, students had their vision checked. On Tuesday, we will continue to read The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.

Period 2: Today, students had their vision checked.

Periods 3, 5 and 6: Students read aloud Wings for the King and finished selection test.

Period 4: Students who unsuccessfully completed China Now and Then Compare and Contrast WS will do it again. Also, we learned background information about Jane Goodall to make reading the upcoming selection more meaningful.

Periods 2, 3, 5 and 6: Last day to earn AR points for the 3rd Marking Period is March 22.

Period 1: We will begin to read The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere. Today, we discussed background information to help students understand poem and reviewed vocabulary workbook page. **Remember to get Jane Goodall test signed and returned by Friday.

Periods 2, 3 and 5: Complete RWB page 106 and answer 2 comprehension questions. Both assignments need to be completed by writing sentences. Test on Wings for the King is Friday.

Period 4: Read China: Now and Then. Complete WS.
