Reading/Language Arts: How-to essay rough draft is due Thursday. Remember to skip lines. Today's class period was dedicated to discussing the essay's format. We discussed writing an interesting opening sentence and writing a strong conclusion sentence. Paragraph 1 is the Introduction (3 sentence minimum); Paragraph 2 is the body of the essay (6 sentence minimum); Paragraph 3 is the Conclusion (3 sentence minimum).

Social Studies: Chapter 6 Lessons 1 and 2 quiz has been returned. There is no written homework.

Period 2 Reading/Language Arts: no written homework

Both periods 1 and 2 are practicing writing summaries and we will continue to complete the Unit 1 Benchmark Assessment.

Periods 3 and 4 Social Studies: Please review Chapter 6 Lessons 1 and 2 worksheets that were reviewed in class. (We need to finish a few questions.) Test is Tuesday.
