Social Studies: Students are working together in small groups to learn about the Constitution. In addition to the text, they have read "The People Who Gave Us the U.S. Constitution." In class, students have completed a challenging crossword and answered a variety of questions. What we have been doing: Students are writing informational essays. Also, they have been reading (carefully and thoughtfully) in small groups to improve fluency, identify main ideas and draw conclusions. They are also practicing writing/identifying similes and metaphors.
Social Studies: Please make sure that you are finished drawing and coloring the Jamestown map. You do not need to cut it out.
