Period 1: Complete Vocab WS and Fact and Opinion WS.
Period 2: Finish "Habitats" Chart in your notebook. Refer to the leveled reader to make sure that the information is complete.
Periods 1 and 2 will create a chart on white drawing paper to summarize main ideas. The work that you did in your notebook is the "rough draft."(I will provide the paper.) Chart is due Monday.

What we have been doing: Students are writing informational essays. Also, they have been reading (carefully and thoughtfully) in small groups to improve fluency, identify main ideas and draw conclusions. They are also practicing writing/identifying similes and metaphors.
Social Studies: Please make sure that you are finished drawing and coloring the Jamestown map. You do not need to cut it out.
