Important Reminder: Students will be taking the Reading and Math PSSA Tuesday, April 12 through Thursday, April 15. Students will complete one section each morning and one section each afternoon.

Writing PSSA will begin on Tuesday, April 20 and continue through Friday, April 23. Students will complete one section each morning.

Also, 3rd Marking Period Report Cards were sent home with your child. Please remember to cut off, sign and return the bottom strip of the report card that includes your child's name to the homeroom teacher.

Please remember to return the carnival form. This form serves two (2) purposes - to identify parent volunteers for the carnival and to record your child's lunch choice for carnival day. So please return the form with your child's lunch choice, even if you are unable to volunteer on carnival day.

Period 1: Use your glossary to define words from RWB page 62. Do not copy the definition that is given on RWB page 62. Also, if a sentence is given after the definition in the glossary, copy it. This is to help practice the skill, "copying information accurately." It also helps us to understand how the word is used in a sentence.
Periods 2,3 5, and 6: We finished discussing the selection on text pages 180-185.
Period 4: Students are revising essays.

On Wednesday and Thursday students will be completing the Reading and Math 4Sight Assessments. This test models the same format that is used on the PSSA and serves as a practice tool to help prepare students.
