Social Studies: Finish crossword. Remember, almost all of the answers can be found in Lesson 4 of Chapter 13 as explained in class. Test on Chapter 13 is Tuesday. Begin to study your notes and vocabulary!

Social Studies: If you have been absent, copy Lesson 2 notes. For homework, define last (5) vocab words on text page 346 and also look up James Madison and Roger Sherman in the Biographical Dictionary.

5th grade field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo is tomorrow, Thursday, May 5. Please arrive at the elementary building no later than 7:30. We will return to the elementary building at approximately 5:15. When you arrive in the morning, please look for your homeroom teacher. Students have assigned seats and assigned chaperones.

Thank you chaperones for your help.

Remember: Straws are not permitted in the zoo.

Social Studies: We are reading Lesson 2 of Chapter 13. Students were divided into groups to debate the Virginia Plan and the New Jersey Plan for government. There is no homework.

Social Studies: Define Northwest Ordinance, territory and statehood from text page 342. You should have all vocabulary on page 342 from Lesson 1 defined.
