Homeroom News:  Field Trip to the Philadelphia Zoo is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21.  Chaperones will be randomly selected from the PTO list of Homeroom Helpers.  For now, please send a note with your child if you would like to chaperone.  5th grade is working it out to determine how many chaperones will be able to go with the students.  I will keep you posted.  Have a good weekend.

Social Studies:  Quiz Thursday on Chapter 8.  Be able to sort a list of the 13 colonies by New England, Middle and Southern.  Know the definitions of tolerate, covenant, Conestoga, proprietor, debtor, and indigo.  Also, study the notes that you copied for Lessons 1-3.  The quiz will be multiple choice and matching.
