Reading: Students completed a Reading textbook "Scavenger Hunt" to get acquainted with the information in their books. Reading textbooks must be covered by Tuesday, September 6.
Social Studies: Students finished and presented "Getting to Know You" illustrations to practice working in groups and help find out what they have in common with each other. We also reviewed identifying continents and oceans.
Students are permitted to wear their Spartan shirts every Friday in honor of Spartan Spirit Days.

Hello Parents and Students!
The first day of school went by very quickly as I tried to learn everyone's names. There were many kind words and friendly faces. Thank you! Students, I hope you had a happy day. Our schedule will get into a routine that you will be comfortable with.

Homeroom Reminders: "Beginning of Year" forms will be coming home and thank you to those who have completed them. Tomorrow is Day 2. Students in my homeroom will have Computer Class with Mr. Glessner.
