Reading/Language Arts: Grammar & Writing Book pages 98-101 to be completed in notebook; SWB pages 42-22; spelling test on words 1-25 is Friday

To encourage independent reading, students are using the Accelerated Reader Program that is tied to your child's independent reading level as determined by an assessment within the program. Today, I explained how to check if a book is on level. Further instructions will be given. Please encourage your child to find a book that he or she would like to read that is within the range of book levels for your child. Students are required to maintain a reading log. Students are practicing responsibility and gaining independence!
